Winter’s Door

I photographed this charming door in a neighborhood where I was house hunting.

I was afraid the paper notices would ruin the shot, but they actually added context.

I mean this is someone’s front door, and there aren’t any footsteps in the snow, so I easily imagined hiding out inside this cozy house until spring.
