thrifted coat rack

The entry to my flat is very narrow, so a hanging coat rack is out of the question, and buying this standing coatrack was an easy decision!

It's of course secondhand, and I got it for 95 DKK (about$16 US). At first I was planning to paint it white, but I kind of like the splash of color it gives to the corner, so it will stay orangy red :)

That is so cute, Sage.

I just wanted to tell you that I made your French-style quiche. I used mixed cheeses (I always have several opened) and broccoli, onions and mushrooms. It was wonderful. Really wonderful. My husband who worked as a sous chef through school (and a little beyond) and has served thousands of quiches said he never made it that way, and the creme fraiche with honey was genius. I added some spices that we like (toasted onion and garlic powder) and a few herbs and boy, did your recipe come through.

After I made it, I went through some old French cookbooks of mine, and sure enough found a couple using creme fraiche. Why hadn't I ever noticed that before? Next up, homemade creme fraiche! LOL! Thanks again for another awesome recipe.

I think I like the orangy red too and I dont usually like that color. However will that go with the rest of your place? I think white would have just blended in so well, no one would notice it. This way it stands out and they can find it! :)
