Thrifted Desk Chair

June 11, 2011 By Sage 5 Comments

Tied to my bike with bungee cords because when the perfect desk chair shows up at the secondhand shop for 165 Crowns (about $30), there’s no time to be a princess.

After paying $40 to replace the light bulb in my bathroom, yes the light bulb, not the actual light, I needed something like this!

    Hi Lisa,

Yep! 200 Crowns, which is about $40.

Granted, it wasn’t a standard light bulb, it was one of the over the sink ones you can see here: http://www.sageandsimple.com/2011/05/making-home.html

But still, $40? That’s just robbery!

Great chair and very clever how you employed the bicycle to cart it home. A nice vintage chair helps take the sting out of paying $40 for one light bulb :)
