Opie Feet

September 19, 2012 By Sage 6 Comments

He brings me so much joy!  Even when he wakes me up in the middle of the night, kneading my arm, or trying to share my pillow or sneak under the duvet, he makes me smile.

I love those silly little feet, and the way he tucks his paws just so :)

How can I feel such a friendship with a creature I can’t communicate with in words?  He somehow knows if mama needs cuddling, space, or just someone closeby.

He talks to me as I get ready for work and welcomes me home. He touches me with his paws as if to say “I’m here for you.”  He sees me out with a different sort of sound if he knows I’ve packed my luggage for time away.

He’s my shadow, but to everyone else, he’s just a cat…

Opie is such a special cat, give him a hug from me, too.

Never just a cat! Opie is so beautiful – he has the richest shade of orange for his fur – like russet.

Cats (and dogs) give you such unconditional love and they certainly always are there for you. I have no doubts that they can always find a way to communicate with us, after all, who needs words xxx

The most noble creature I’ve ever met was a cat. x0x

Once upon a time, I had the chance to move to the happiest country in the world!

My restless Aries spirit liked that idea, so I did what any girl in my position would do… I grabbed my cat, booked a one-way ticket to Denmark, and became an expat!
