Photos of the Acropolis

February 15, 2015 By Sage 2 Comments

I fully intended to post these photos of the Acropolis last week, but I got wacked with yet another Danish cold and have pretty much been in bed or installed on the sofa since Wednesday night :(

I went years in the US without so much as a sniffle, but the lack of OTC cold remedies here means I’m surrounded by coughing and snot at every turn from late autumn until spring. Throw in stress, an open plan office, and people who don’t cover their mouths/noses when they cough or sneeze and it’s no wonder I’m on my third cold of the season!

But enough of my whining. Here are a few photos of the Acropolis that I took during my walking tour… chronologically on the climb up.*

What are you up to this weekend?

I’ve got henna on my hair and I’m headed back the sofa with a cup of tea, a box of tissues, Opie, and The Secret Life of Bletchley Park… hope yours is more exciting :)

Best wishes for a speedy recovery, Sage. I’m sure that Opie is happy to have you all to himself for a few days.

Your photographs are stunning! Wonderful use of shadows in the compositions. Thanks so much for sharing your adventures.

Thanks, SS :) Opie never left my side… he takes such good care of his momma, we have a very special bond!

Once upon a time, I had the chance to move to the happiest country in the world!

My restless Aries spirit liked that idea, so I did what any girl in my position would do… I grabbed my cat, booked a one-way ticket to Denmark, and became an expat!
