This is the end of Sage & Simple.
It’s been almost 10 years and I appreciate everyone who’s followed me and supported me on this long, strange trip from Connecticut to Denmark. While I’ve loved creating and growing this blog, my freelance business is thriving, and I feel that this next chapter of my story is meant to be lived privately.
So, tak for nu as we say in Denmark…
P.S. If I ever decide to come back to blogging, I’ll announce it to my email list. You can opt-in via the box in the right sidebar :)

Oh, no. I’ll miss hearing your stories and insights of living abroad. Even after moving abroad myself (from Seattle to London) I’ve still enjoyed your blog immensely. But I get wanting to live a private life. Thanks for sharing so much and may your life going forward be filled with love, joy and wonder.

Aww. I can’t begin to tell you how much I’ve enjoyed your blog. I’ve been a reader since Connecticut.
I wish you and Opie all the best and will follow you on Instagram.
Thank you for letting me live vicariously through you for so long.

Well, my girl moves forward and onward….how proud I am of you and how far you have come since your days of Doc Martins and long lace skirts! This mature woman you have become makes me so very happy I had a small amount of influence on you….at least I hope I did. Plus, I have so loved living the life I forever wanted thru you. I will miss that. Guess I will have to learn how to use Instagram to keep up with you.

The very very best to you…not surprised…sometimes life just needs to be lived without the world peeking over your shoulder, and without wondering what luscious tidbits you will share. Blessings brave heart

I’m sorry (for myself) that you’re not blogging further but I certainly understand. You’ve been very generous in opening your life and your heart to all of us that read your blog. I appreciate that you waited until we’ve seen your life take a turn for the positive before turning out the lights.
I’ll miss your thrift store finds, your exquisite jewelry, your home repairs and upgrades (I love your style!), and of course your recipes.
Thank you for all of it!
Good luck Sage, best wishes to you as you move forward.

SAGE! Yes, you DO absolutely have a novel in you! And quite a bit of it left to be LIVED!
Thank you for helping me to understand some things — well, of course, not all, but for giving us all a slight peek into your personal adventures thus far… And, especially, this assist for me to not comment anymore on your blog because I do need it. (LOL!)
Most of all, and I do mean this heartfeltly, many pleasant journeys to you!

I’ll miss your blog! I’m an expat *once again, and this time from Canada to Switzerland and I could relate to a few of your experiences, especially the cultural ones. All the best in the next private phase of your journey! I’m all for privacy now after moving to CH.
