I was inspired this morning to skip my workout in favor of a leisurely treasure hunt at Salvation Army and Goodwill. I had a very successful day, finding all of this for less than $30… This adorable and practically brand new cotton blouse was only $2 at Goodwill! This vintage dress was only $4.99. Picnic Basket
Once a week or so, I’ll stop by Target on my way to work to stock up on cat supplies and soy milk. If I’m not quite ready to face a day of dealing with project issues and passive-aggressive stakeholders, I’ll wander around the store in search of bargains. You really can’t beat Target’s clearance!… Continue Reading

There are… Continue Reading

Homemade Lavender Cleaner Recipe 1/2 cup white vinegar 1/2 cup water 10 – 15 drops of lavender essential oil (or lemon or tea tree) Add everything to a spray bottle. Shake to combine.
Mother’s Day Muffin Basket
I spent Saturday afternoon listening to Joni Mitchell and baking Mother’s Day muffins for my mother in law. I made my jumbo blueberry muffins, individual coffeecakes, and mini loaves of cornbread. The coffeecakes were a bust because the streusel didn’t set properly. Still, it was a nice little basket of homemade goodies :)(I wish I’d… Continue Reading
