I love the picture of the kitten. I also adopted a kitten when she was 6 weeks old and was the cutest thing - she is the most loving cat of the 3 I have, and also follows me around the house. I found my very first kitty when I was still single, in my early twenties. She was a newborn kitten dropped by her momma. She fit in the palm of my hand and, just like Opie, she cried every time I put her down. Consequently, I held her on my shoulder as much as possible. When I did put her down, she would stand on her back legs, put her front paws together and meow. It looked as if she were praying for me to pick her up. How could I resist that?? His name is Crush. I got him at about 5 weeks also. He fell in the commode one Sunday afternoon and almost drown. My son found him limp and lifeless and soaking wet.
