seanymph: I find it odd that there aren't any buyer agents. It's difficult navigating this without any sort of representation, but I accept that things are different here. In general, there is less service, and people are expected to do more for themselves.

Im amazed to read about those agents. Seems to me, they dont do anything and are pretty useless. Almost sounds like here in the USA. I just sold my old house and bought another out of state. My agent on my old house was a gem.......and worked really hard. The new one tho, all she did was smile alot. I did all the work about the house and she collected the fees. What scam that job is.

I am so happy to have found your blog! I actually found you from the forums over at Sugarpie Farmhouse and wanted to read you recipes! We certainly have a lot in common, I am frugal, eat mostly vegan/vegetarian (with the exception that I do like chicken!) and I just saw that you have an Etsy shop too.
